About Emily Wells

Emily Wells is a professional coach with a background in arts management, business, and higher education administration. She helps clients strengthen leadership, navigate career transitions, and build practical systems for sustainable growth. Having navigated a profound career transition from opera singer to arts leader, she developed a passion for coaching others through their own journeys of transformation. She completed her coach training through Rice University’s CoachRICE certification program and is pursuing Associate Certified Coach (ACC) credentialing through the International Coaching Federation (ICF). Her collaborative, individualized approach merges creativity and strategy to help clients identify their strengths, set meaningful goals, expand influence, and make measurable progress in leadership, career development, and wellbeing.

In addition to private coaching, Emily delivers presentations on leadership, building empowered administrative teams, and topics at the forefront of arts and higher education administration. Recent engagements include the Juilliard Apprentice Program, the College Music Society Academic Leaders Cohort, and the Eastman School of Music Context Conference.
